About Eve

Eve Lom MBE, founder of the cult skincare brand and creator of iconic products such as the original EVE LOM Cleanser, now turns her attention to a new dimension of wellbeing: BREATH.

Born in rural Czechoslovakia, Eve Lom was raised by her white witch grandmother, who believed deeply in natural medicine and passed this knowledge on to her from an early age.

Eve developed an intuitive gift for the healing power of touch and plant-based remedies. When her country was invaded, Eve fled to France, and it was there, in 1975, that she met her future husband, the actor Herbert Lom. The couple later moved to Hollywood, a shift that would prove pivotal in Eve’s career.

It was there that Eve discovered a ‘wrong’ product in a salon, which turned out to be exactly the right one, sparking Eve’s reimagining of skincare and inspiring her to create a cleanser unlike anything available at the time.

The resulting product, the first of its kind with five benefits in one, transformed the way people cleansed their skin for decades. Vogue would go on to call it ‘the best cleanser in the world’, cementing the global success of the EVE LOM brand.

Returning to London, Eve built her own practice and continued to deepen her therapeutic expertise, studying craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute. In 2012, she was awarded an MBE for services to the cosmetic industry, recognised by the Royal Society of Medicine, and invited to become a member.

Today, Eve remains committed to the same principles that shaped her early life: natural healing, educated touch, and an unwavering belief in the body’s ability to restore itself.

IN & OUT IS THE RESULT OF NEARLY A DECADE OF EXPLORATION

Through her studies in anatomy, craniosacral therapy, and transcendental meditation, Eve has refined a conscious breathing routine that has evolved into the IN & OUT ritual - a simple, grounding practice designed to bring clarity, calm and connection back into daily life.

WHY IN & OUT

This technique is a deeply personal offering. Eve writes that the breath IN and the breath OUT are the ‘key holder’ to your wellbeing.

It is something you do for yourself, an act of self care and commitment. It is a daily appointment with yourself.

We are what we repeatedly do.
